The Coming Battle For A Seat On The Supreme Court

With the retirement of Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, the administration, congress, and activist groups around the country are gearing up for the battle ahead. The senate, with it's filibuster mentality on the left, pitted against the conservative concrete of the right, is setting the stage for what could be a low point in the history of our country.
And, at the head of the table sits President Bush - what will he do now?

I guess my question to the first article would be, "What is the RIGHT thing?" There is such a division among the people in America today, I just can't see any way of reaching any kind of consensus. It's crazy!
Of course, in my opinion, the next supreme court justice will be the one who has the most financial backing. In the long run, in this world, it's all about the money.
Justice? Well, we all know justice is blind. And with the world the way it is, I'm tempted to wrap a blindfold over my eyes, too!
