Don't Hate Me Because I'm Free...

In a nutshell, a law by definition is the removal of a freedom because it states that there's something you must or must not do. Thus, the more laws we have the less free we are. The United States now has over 250,000 laws...

Our Freedom Siren Song

Do you really think the terrorists hate us because we're 'free'?

It is rather ironic, isn't it. We do hear quite frequently the mantra of, "they hate us because we are free." But with a government that is fumbling over itself to relieve us of those freedoms, how much truth can there be in that statement? I believe the answer lies in the source of our freedom.
Are we hated? Yes, indeed. Is it because we are free? In a way. It is because we have been set free by Christ Jesus, who died that we may have salvation. Salvation is what our enemies seek - and, if they find it, they'll realize there is no place for hatred any longer.
As for our government, and the 250,000+ laws regulating our lives, I anticipate it will continue to grow until its time is ended.

Peace, love and freedom in Christ...
