And So It Begins...

Israel's evacuation of Gaza's Jewish communities is a victory for "Palestinian resistance" and the beginning of the destruction of the Jewish state, senior Hamas leaders said this week, announcing they would next focus their efforts on removing Israel from the West Bank.

What do you suppose Israel really hoped to gain by pulling out? It is beyond me.

I have a feeling Israel is being pressured (obviously to an extreme) to follow the 'Roadmap for Peace.' I'm not sure what kind of map that is - it makes no sense to give away territory.
I guess maybe, in order to pursue peace within the United States, we should give Manhattan back to the Native Americans and California back to Mexico...?

Peace, love and question marks...
